about aerie & korgan
i have korgan & aerie in my party. the thing is korgan keeps on insulting aerie...till she leaves the party. i went to the promenade & visited the circus tent....she's not there.
would her leaving the party affects the romance between my main char & aerie? or is there any way to stop her from leaving the party?

There's a mod called "Ease of Use". One of the components is commonly referred to as "Happy", and it lets you keep any two NPC's together that would normally have a falling out.

When a party member dies, turns to stone or leaves the party, the romance is killed. Therefore if she has gone, so have the chances of romance.
If you want to keep Aerie in your party, either kick Korgan or find a mod.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

What's your current reputation? I've found that most interparty conflicts won't occur as long as it avoids being high or low. That said, the easiest way to deal with this (as others have pointed out) is to use the mod that disables it.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I don't think it is related to party reputation. I have suffered from this situation either. "Look at the sky missy your days are over..". Korgan says this and Aerie disapaers. So Ease-of-Use might not work. Because you are in the middle of the game. So your problem can be fixed by Baldurdash's Happy mod.

IMO you should examine all the fixes you will need some of them if you will romance with aerie. Like uncle quayle dialog loop fix.
Have a nice game.

Have you tried a game in which you kept your reputation average? As I recall, only one potential conflict, involving Keldorn and--I think--Viconia, ever turned violent. Otherwise, I never had a problem through the entire game with alignment incompatibilities.

Aerie was the only one who died during the battle with the Shadow Dragon...& i didnt know that if she dies, the romance would end
well, its not important anyway. i've already reached the last romance dialouge before she died & guess there wouldnt be anything else left to see.
as for the Happy mod, i cant find it. i can only find aerie/anomen & quale loop fixes.

To Live Is To Die
Romance termination
Death doesn't end the romance... Imprisonment and petrification do, because the game acts as if you've kicked them out... Remember, after freeing them or Stone to Flesh, you actually have to invite them back in.
I heard of a mod that fixes this, but I've never used it...
Weidu's "Ease Of Use" includes the happy mod... get it from: http://www.weidu.org

I think domination does the same thing too actually... it could be that I finish the missions too fast for my romance to progress fast enough but I seem to remember that my characters seem to stop having their little chats if they've been dominated.
Warning: logic and sense is replaced by typos and errors after 11pm
Spoiler
, it has yet to return

korgan still gives his speech & there goes aerie, out from the party
as for baldurdash, i cant find any happy mod cept for aerie & quale/anomen loop fix

Did you note this in the readme file?
"This keeps the NPCs from fighting each other or causing each other to leave
the group. In addition, NPCs won't leave if your reputation is too high or
low. [ You must install the first Romance component (Bug Fixes) before
installing this component. ]"
I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have to install another mod prior to this.

yeah ive read the readme file
it suggested that i uninstall the happy mod & then replay older saved games
but apparently all 6 of my save games were very quite recent ones
maybe it didnt work because im in the middle of the game right now
i cant risk losing korgan, neither can i loose aerie not only for the romance, but also of her abilities

Sorry Vendes, i think i gave you the wrong page for the mod. But keep in mind that you should check for other mods in there.
For happy group script you need
BG2SirKalthorineUtWistan'sHappyGroupScripts. I'll give you that in the attachment. "Read me" explains everything.
Good luck.
BTW, as you will experience later, party reputation won't effect the conflict between Aerie and Korgan. It is simply a personal argument.

i have another problem which i dont know what's the cause but it seems that my reputation is causing Edwin & Korgan to leave.
Korgan would say that the time spent with the protagonist is a waste & he'll end with 'Good Riddance!'
while Edwin, after changing into Edwina, she says 'im glad to leave you idiots!'
sparhawk, ive replace my files with the mods. most of them are the _1 & the Happy.2DA files & still the problem reoccurs but this time its not the korgan/aerie problem.
ps. now i just remembered that i forgot to backup my original files

To Live Is To Die
total havoc!
those problems have resurfaced again
edwin leaving...korgan leaving...korgan dissed aerie & she leaves(AGAIN!)...
ive tried to avoid these problems twice by reloading or setting korgan as the team leader & it worked maybe for the mean time but it still annoys me
i dont think those mods are working. i think its just delaying the 'farewell' speech
should i reinstall everything & maybe again try to replace the mods?
