13 hours in my impressions

first thing I want to say is... WOW, i think it completely blows the first game out of the water, atleast so far.

there is so much more dialouge to go through, which some people might like or not. personally i love it more than fighting. the influence system is particularly a nice touch. right now i'm totally going for dark side, and i'm about 3/4 of the way down the bar. I have my red double-bladed lightsaber. even with your allies who teeder on light side, you can say dark side things, gain dark side points, and still gain influence with them, if you choose correctly sometimes. which is nice, because some of the characters i'm afraid of alienating, even though they might be good, and I definately want all the dark side points I can get. also, it seems to me there might actually be a chance for romance in this game. I'm not totally sure yet, but some of the conversations i've had, have led me to believe this, and wow, that would be totally awesome, so i'm working on that right now. in the first game, I kind of felt like it took too long to get off of some planets and continue the story, maybe there isn't much of a difference, or maybe the game just flows better, but it doesn't seem like I'm doing the same thing for along time this time around. Seems just right. and back to dialouge, there are so many more options to say to people, and that's of course cool. I am also suprised at how many references to Revan and Malak they make. It really feels like this is not a sequel, but part of a triolgy (or continuing story), the way star wars is meant to be.

there are so many things i like, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. but I'd love to talk with anyone who has gone to dantoonie and nah sharra (sp?) and is about the same length into the game as me (13 hours or so) as I don't want to be spoiled either, but I'd like to get some feedback.

easily the most fun and addictive game i think i've ever played.

still stuck on space station...

wow...

one thing people will really really like is the fact that skills are SO much more important...i mean blasting with force or massive flurry attacks are still very important, but skills can really make or break a party...

security has now become very important!!! :) more important than awareness...

They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Us limeys have 2 options, buy an import xbox, or move to the states!

Dont forget though, we will have the benefit of our freinds the other side of the pond to guide us through the game.

There will be people who have played it 3 or 4 times by the time it gets released in europe, we will also have the benefit of a walkthrough.
We will know how to build our character, what stats we need or dont need, what feats to use, where to find all the goodies!! actually Im fairy chuffed, cause I will need all the help I can get!!!

So its not all bad!
That kid is on the escolator again!
