Elizabeth Dane boat missing

I've received the quest from the Prince, done a few things in Downtown and now I've visited the Pier in Santa Monica. However, there's no boat - what do I do? What have I done wrong? I expected to come out on the beach with the losers and the woman who sees the future and see it just off shore, but it doesn't appear to be there!

Well... stupid question, but have you tried an earlier save? Might just be a temporary thing. And are you sure you have the brightness high enough to see it? I know it was almost pitchblack when I found it...

There's a possibility that you've just overlooked it. For some unholy reason, Troika decided to make the boat nearly invisible in the darkness. You have to go as far as you can out into the water, and only when you've physically bumped into it is it visible, by which time you'll begin loading the next area.

Trust me, you can't see it from any distance away. Just run out there and you'll probably run into it. If it actually is missing and I've just insulted you, then I apologize!

Don't worry about insulting me - I need the help!!

I've now found the boat. It is completely black, but by moving into the water and looking out to sea I could see its silhouette. I found that you have to jump onto it and move forward...
