Beckett - learning the form (possible spoiler).

During the conversation with Beckett, after the Sabbat warehouse has gone "boom", is there ACTUALLY a possibility to learn something from him (using persuasion, maybe)? And if there IS, what does it take to "do the deed" (no, I'm not fond of Malkavians, he-he): stats, persuasion or anything else? Has anyone succeed?

During the game there are several places where Beckett can raise your stats if you're playing a Gangrel (the first encounter after the Warehouse being one of those). Other clans get only one boost later in the game. Generally, try talking to him about ALL the junk you can and ask ALL the questions and demand ALL the background info you can. Oh, and I don't think persuade has anything to do with it.

In the museum, if your scholarship is 2 or less, and you told about all about weird happenings in the warehouse, you can get +1 scholarship.

Conversation: 1,2,1,2,1,1,1,2. And I think it's this sequence only.

There are some other rewards later, but I don't think you can get some of them before patch comes out...

Playing a Gangrel:-

When you first meet Beckett you get the option of asking him to teach you about shapeshifting. He goes on to explain that it isn't possible because disciplines are powers of the blood and cannot be learned like skills and talents.

I don't think persuasion makes a difference because, when you think of it, in the Protean line of levels there is nowhere you can shapeshift in to a wolf like Beckett did (other than warform at Level 5 and that isn't really a wolf now is it?).

Yeah, he says no to shapeshifting, but my Gangrel got some kind of a stat increase during the conversation. Back then I didn't keep a very close track of my stats so I never figured out exactly what he boosted, but I'm positive I got the "stat increased" message...

With the unofficial 5.9 patch, the conversation sequence is:
1,2,1,2,1,1,1,3

When he is on the venture tower(dont remenber if it is when you get the sarcoufghas, or after SoC)...He can raise your protean level by one...and one point of humanity(dont know if you need to be low on humanity)

PS-When he is on venture tower or in the museum...
