Jonny Boy is a 30th level mage. His melee attack is hilarious. Also, he has unlimited Magic Missiles, I think.
I saved Suldanesellar from destruction, and all I got was this stupid amulet.

yup, and he got very incrediably low thac0 i mean he could still hit me though stoneskin, blah blah blah, with -12 ac, blah blah for 10 pt of damage a hit, at almost 5 hit a round i think. and that was a tensored transformed kenshi/mage, and he had over 425 hp on him, i just copied the stat from my BGI fighter that was way overtomed.
bah bah, sig? Me? naaa.

I think he even does it twice... if you can hold out long enough without killing him ofcourse.

Well, I never get to feel the full face of his powers because I always kill him to quickly (sequenced magic missiles, trap setting, etc). When I ctrl-qed him I found a rather limited spell selection, though. It seems the designers wanted him to follow a very narrow battle plan.

Two things, one if Jon was a lavel 30 mage, wouldn't he have some of the new Tob spells like Wish and Bigby's cleching fist or something.
Secondly how come all the mad mages die when Irenicus runs off regardless of whether they survive the battle.

Well, like I said, I think they wanted him to follow a narrow battle plan and not a generic AI one. Giving him ToB spells would have made him invincible anyway, and I don't think ToB made any modifications to SoA barring Watcher's Keep.
