OK, how do I defeat Darth Traya (spoiler)

Post by JediCeres »

Alright, I've finally made it to the end of the game (I think) and I'm fighting Darth Traya (aka Kreida) and I can't seem to beat her. I get to the point where I fight her with the 3 floating light sabres but can't get any farther. What do I have to do to defeat her. I can't keep using my shields and Master Heal....I'm spending all my time keeping myself alive and I can't attack. What do I do?

You can press start and go into your items and use life support packs. I'm a Sith Maurder so it's pretty easy to keep using master fury and force crush to whoop her.

Unfortunately, this is my first time through the game so I'm playing light side and I don't have force crush. And I can't get close enough to her to use Master Flury because of the floating light sabres. They always take down my shields and I end up having to use Master Heal to power back up just to keep alive. Any other suggestions?

Don't use master heal, just press start and use life support packs in the items screen. That'll save you force points.

I don't see how why you can't use master furry against the lightsabers. They attacked me close enough. Just make use of all your light side powers that boost your attributes like Burst of Speed.

OK, I feel stupid now. I was concentrating all my attacks on Traya herself instead of the light sabres individually. Would it be easier to try to take them out first?

lightsabers

Just focus on the sabers, once they are done with the rest is downhill from there. Be prepared for the GREATEST ENDING ANY VIDEO GAME HAS TO OFFER!!!!!. well greatest if you never played any other game before that is.

Just curious, but what lever is your character when you encounter this final battle and how many hours are at your saved game?

how long?

If that question is directed to me, I was at level 25 I believe, and about 40-45 hours I think or is it 30-35, I think more in the 40's. I spent a huge chunk of the game talking a to me this is not a game but a controlable story, worthy of smoking many a joints to while not having to read a thing... Keeping in mind I also didnt get a single bounty or do the pazaak matches that show as a quest and a couple other minor things here and there. Dissapointing really I would have thlought I would have gotten it all done in one go no problems. oh well, plans are a delicate thing at best I guess.

Use force wave. It stuns the sabers. Traya won't attack you just take out the lightsabers.

Yeah flurry worked. I'm SERIOUSLY disappointed with the ending though. It raises more questions than it answers.
