ive just started playing bg2 trough for the 4th time and this time i decided to cheat in the game just so i can buy all the items potions etc. at the beginning of the game just to make the game a little easier and speedier(is that even a word lol)
so i opened the baldur.ini file put Debug Mode=1 and saved it.
now some of the cheats work, for example i used the ctrl+8 cheat when i rolled the stats of my character to save time. now i finished irenicus´ dungeon and wanted to give me some money but the cheat doesnt work for some reasons
i wrote CLUAconsole:Addgold("10000") but it didnt work
i get the following message:
iua: indexed expression not a table
any clues to what im doing wrong?
oh and while im at it i have a quick gameplay question.
the previous times iplayes the game i used good characters only, but this time i decided to throw in a couple evil characters as well coz i heard they got some great npc interactions and comments
so this will be my party
ME
Keldorn
Korgan
Anomen
Yoshida
Edwin
im wondering will this party be able to work together or will they eventually go at each others throats?
oh and also will the evil characters leave if my reputation gets over 18? any tips on preventing hem to leave since i usually play a good game with all the best choices....
problem with the cluaconsole
I don't think anyone in that party will go for each other's throats - however, yes, the evil members will leave if your reputation goes over 18.
There is a component, commonly referred to as "Happy", of the mod Ease of Use that would prevent that.
One question I have about it (since I've yet to use it) is whether using that component of that mod would prevent any of the banters one might otherwise see by using those characters.

As for your CLUA question, I know that the commands are very case sensitive, and I -suspect- that the problem was that you didn't capitalize "console" in the command that you reported as "CLUAconsole". It should be "CLUAConsole". You also said you typed "Addgold", and I suspect the proper command is "AddGold".
