Video problems - stuck in Plaguebearer sewer

I just killed the second Plaguebearer and found my way back up to the hatch that leads up to the alley where I met Tin Can Bill. When I go through the man hole the video looks like I am falling off the face of the Earth! And it keeps going and going.... HELP!

yeah, i have this going on too, and made a post earlier, although i don't think anybody noticed it.......it sure would be nice to get a fix for this.

Out of curiosity guys... is your character actually flying up, or just the camera? I believe JimmyC implied it was the camera (sorry if I mis-paraphrased you, Jimmy). Does pressing z to change camera style fix anything? How about just as you get out, trying to run 'under' something (the underpass by the Last Round with the bums comes to mind)? How about trying to run into the Last Round or the other building close by, the carnival of death one?

Sorry for the lame advice, but that's all I can think of.

EDIT: Oh and Jimmy, we noticed, we just had no idea what to do.

replay section over to fix

I had to replay the section over again from the point that you first go down into the sewers - saved it and it worked the second time. Hope it works for you guys, too.

gah. after several more attempts to fully play through this section, ie. starting outside of the sewer, i am still running into the same problem. is there a giveitem cheat for the piece of paper he drops or something that i can do that will let me complete this quest? i couldn't find anything on gamefaqs.com.

i've had this problem too ... only solution for me was to take out the patch ... (install a fresh copy of the game) play that part and put the patch back (lucky that i had an early save game and its working only if u have an save *before* get in to the sewers...) and is not the camera who fall back its the character who wants to see if could reach China ...

drat. i haven't even gotten around to installing the patch yet, so that isn't my problem. thanks though. does anybody know what the console code for the piece of paper that says "I am enlightened" on it is? i couldn't fiind any console command that produced it, but i think it would solve my problem if such a code existed...maybe installing the patch will help, but i didn't read anything in the description saying it fixed any problem that sounded even vaguely like this one.

Looking at this useful thread, which should be stickied, imo..., I found that the command you want is "give item_g_brotherhood_flyer." See if that works, and go have fun!

Ok guys i hope you appreciate this. I created a forum account to give you the quick and easy easy fix.

Ok using the console (by adding -console to the end of the target in the shortcut properties) , after loading a game ,press esc and enter "Clip 1" into the console and click on the sewer lid after you are in a good position type "clip 0" to return to normal.

Basiclly it will just stop you from falling by turning off collisons , quick and simple.
