G'day
Just to solve a bet... who made the 3 artifacts required to beat the final level in this game?
Who made the 3 artifacts

*hits buzzer* The answer, of course, is the Dwarven smith Kagranec, who forged them to manipulate the heart of Lorkhan but ended up destroying the entire dwemer race during his experiments (yes, that is where they all went).
You can find some references (not actual writing, but a few pretty pictures) to Kagranec's tools in the books 'The Egg of Time' and 'Divine Metaphysics'

Kragenac? I though he was called Kagranec..
But dont be so sure that dwemer race is destroyed.. there is atleast ONE left... And destroying whole race is just theory.. it could be so that they just went to outer realms...
You can have your own opinion about this matter... YES I HAVE DONE THAT ARCHMAGE TREBONIUS QUEST... Still it is quite hard to prove anything becuse everyone says ''perhaps'' about the Dwemers..

Well, I knew I was at least somewhere near the proper spelling.
On another note, when you talk to Yagrum, he does say that he left Vvardenfell for some reason (I can't remember why) and when he came back, all the other Dwemer were gone. I suppose this is still in sync with my theory, considering the spontanious combustion of the Dwarves could have only happened within a certain radius.
I don't suppose I have any substantial information to prove my theory, but I did hear someone (I think Vivec) say something about that.

Well, there's some physical evidence to what may have happened to the dwemer. Some slight spoilerage, so please scroll down.
In the Tribunal expansion, Almalexia sends you beneath Mournhold to an old dwemer complex. The place is mostly undesturbed mind the centurions, and as you wander you'll find "bodies" - ash piles, bearing armor, weapons, and clothes. Perhaps the ashes are the remains of an entire civilization suddenly zapped into oblivion?

Could be so.. but since it has been year or two since i had some intrest on disapearence of the Dwemer.. i have forgotten most things..
But since i have never thought that Morrowind is so good game that i should buy it's expansions.. i cant comment about ashpiles in somewhere who knows where.. but here it goes.. (correct me if i am wrong please)
First thing all dwemer were in same place. except that Yagrum.. And werent whole battle in Dagoth Ur's citadel where whole Dwemer race was?
So Kagranec did that in hurry.. Near Hearth of Lorkham...
And they just disapeared.. leaving nothing.. And there was some other Dwemers on other side of Ghost Sea(is ghost sea right name?) Perhaps they were too far away from hearts power.. and they just burned.. and Yagrum was so far away that he got no effects of it.. and i must say that it only affected dwemer.. So Kagranec must have been controlling Hearts powers.. otherway those should have just wiped out CHIMER too..
There was also book about taking Dwemer Centurion Spider across the ghost sea and then it just ran out of ''energy'' then they turned back and it worked again..
