Embarrassing...

Post by Lumpa »

Hi all. Well this is kind of embarrassing, I've made it through roughly 3/4 of the game, and I still can't figure out how to sell any items that I've found, such as car stereos, rings, etc. Supposedly I should be able to sell at the pawn shop, or to Fat Larry, or the guy at the convience store, but I don't get that option at any of them. All they let me do is buy. Am I missing something? I think I've got enough weapons and ammo, etc to finish but I'd really like to know so I can really stock up on stuff.

I won't laugh. I swear. *grins* Well, at least you realize the amusing-ness of your predicament.

When you're in buy/sell mode, you see what the merchant owns on the right side, right? You select to buy, then press "buy." Well... your own inventory appears on the left (with arrows on the top to cycle between types of inventory). Ever wonder what happens when you select one of those, and then press the same buy button, which now reads, "sell"? That's right, you sell it. *grins* Its not that hard, but I guess its not really intuitive either. Have fun, and I hope this helped!

I have to say that it is pretty sad when you're trying to enjoy a game, but know you are 'not getting something', and are afraid to ask for help for fear of getting pounded ... fortunately most of these forums (GB) seem pretty good.
