If you want to be a mage character entirely reliant on spells... I would go for the Altmer. Restoring magicka with the Atronach, as Moltovir noted is no problem. And, not far into the game you can find, buy, make amulets of Divine Intervention, Mark/Recall, which means you don't have to use magicka to restore your supply (also handy if you are totally out of magicka and have no potions).
Yes, I have noted this, and you have made it o-so clear for me, thank you, I didn't realise what I would do if I was fresh out of magicka, anyway, I will easily get the Divine and Almsivi Interventions amulets >when I do one of the Mages Guild Quests< :p

As far as being vulnerable to magicka, this can be quite easily overcome if you decide to make things a little easier. For one, the Atronach, will go a long way to protecting you.
Yes, and I will absorb even more magic once I collect the >Necromancers Amulet< and I will also be able to reflect some of it, and resist the fire damage, with the >Robe of Drake's Pride< and with the the >Mentor's Ring< I will be able to resist some of the Magicka, all which you have already mentioned

Thank you too for the intel dragonwench!!! ;)
Mentor's Ring
Spoiler: you can get this easily at the beginning of the game, the only thing you need is an invisibility spell, scroll or potion. In Seyda Neen, follow the coastline northeast until you reach the black hills and mountains. Facing the sea you should see an ancestral tomb (Samarys). Enter, and kill the rats and skeletons if any. Go left and you should see a door. Open it and cast your invisibility spell. Go past the skeleton champions, wait until they leave the room, grab the ring, and recall, intervene or run very hard.
Invisiblity is not a starting spell, but you can buy one at the Balmora Guild of Mages, get a potion at the Thieves' Guild, or make a potion yourself of a diamond (bought or stolen from Nalcarya) and Bittergreen Petals

About the character: good choice, but why on earth did you pick Athletics? There are 18 other fighting or stealth skills you can choose out to get the 9 + 1 combo, and you picked the most useless skill in the game. Athletics will go up quickly nontheless, no matter if it starts at level 5 or level 15. And, after all, why run when you can hide and unleash mayhem at your opponent's back? I advise picking Speechcraft (bribing is very useful) or Hand-to-Hand (not really a combat skill, but it will save your hide when you run out of magicka in the middle of a fight, unable to use intervention spells)

I was actually fully aware of the fact that the Mentor's Ring is very close and can be easily reached, I did ity with the last one I mentioned above :p

I am (again) unsure of whether or not I should choose Athletics, thanx moltovir :p lol...but then again, I still don't think H2H would be good, trying to stay away from any fighting/weapon skills...

What should I choose?

Btw dragonwench, I am going to use Tristesse Noriee (I can't have accents on the Xbox for names) so thanks for the idea! :D

Well Hand to Hand is bad skill.. it could be decent with some fortify spells and drain fatigue... I wouldn't recomend using that skill... Still.. i would say that if you want chalenge.. Hand to hand is skill for you..

But i would say that just pick shortblade and use daggers..

Perhaps you forgot, lifeishell, that there are dozens of enemies with spell absorption or reflect that won't feel anything when you fire your superduper 2 billion firedamage spell at them. At least one fighting skill is a necessity for any character. And, as Wrath pointed out, Hand-to-Hand can be very dangerous in combination with Drain or Damage Fatigue (Paralyze can also be very helpful). Hand-to-hand also goes up very quickly, due to the fact that fighting take lots of time with HTH.

GOD! I am so stupid, thanx for pointing that out moltovir... :o

Thank you so much XxXxX :D :D :D

My Character, version:
1.3

Race: Altmer
Specialization: Magic
Name: Tristesse Noiree
Sign: The Artronach
Main Attributes: Intelligence, Luck

Custom Class: Glistening Goddess of Gold

Major Skills
Alteration
Destruction
Illusion
Conjuration
Unarmored

Minor Skills

Alchemy
Shortblade
Mysticim
Enchant
Restoration

Ok, I have chosen Shortblade, and have decided that I will only use shortblades that are legendary or bound, I don't know why I want to do that but, I just want to. So, if no one has anymore significant points for me, thats what I think I will be going with... :)

Btw, I want to say thank you for pointing out to me that Shortblade was the proper way to go and to say sorry that I ignored it, Wrath-Of-Egg ;)
