need a hint please

ive spent an hour walking around the mining asteroid trying to find a way on to the republic ship or access to something that will allow me to disrupt the forcefields. what am i missing? it 3am and im prob worn out but i seriously cant see anything i missed-doors, terminals, ramps outside leading to the ship, nothing. Even a hint of what section i should be scouring, or what to look for would be very much appreciated. I usually prefer to find stuff on my own without books or help from anyone but i really want out of this level and get on with the story

What do your quests say now? Has the ship just docked? Do you have anyone else in your party yet?

i have a party of 3, destroyed the protocol droid and my journal says i need to find a way to disrupt the forcefields blocking the hangar, and the republic ship might be the key.

Ah, in that case...hmm this is kind of hard to explain. If you're facing the administration console, walk directly right. There should be a ramp leading up to what was previously a locked airlock, but now it leads you to the Republic ship.

hmmm thanks i sort of know what you mean, as long as i know i have to be on admin level i should be able to figure it out from there thanks

i knew it i completely missed that corridor, i took another look at my map and NOW i saw it, i really have to stop playing in the middle of the night, i did the exact same thing in the swoop gang garage in kotor 1
