Getting it on with Jeanette
This is my second time playing through this game, trying to catch some of the things I missed the first time through. One of things I hear about all the time is that you can talk Jeanette in to the sack, but I can't seem to do it no matter what I do!
I'm a female Gangrel this time (not that it matters since all the girls swing both ways in this game) and I gave her the locket, sided with her all the time and got her to kill Therese, I've pumped up my seduction to 6 and I'm still getting no where. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is there something specific that needs to be done, or does the option become unlocked later in the game (I just the Elizabeth Dane portion and talking to Lacroix).
Any pointers or help would be most appreciated. (BTW, I know it's nothing but a blank screen). Thank you!

No probs! After u made Jeanette kill her "sister" she said something like:
"Do visit me sometimes" - right?
That's the one triggering it I think, no need to visit her again. Anyways, try checking in her room after u've done more main quests; if u've done enough, she should be standing there in her room and you know.. have fun!

Drinking from another vampire can cause an unatural love called "The Blood Bond".. Doing it 3 times over three nights enslaves you utterly.
However, draining a vampire of ALL their blood and contiuing to feast untill their very heart and soul are swallowed is called Diablerie. Rough stuff!

I was Diablorised once. I got better.
Well, I finally had my sexual encounter with Jeanette last night, so I guess I can check that off on my list of things I haven't done yet in bloodlines. Nice voice work, I must say! I saw her after the "find gary" quest opened up and I entered the holywood hub, not sure if you can do this earlier.
Um... This is my second game (already finished with a brujah) and I ended all Sta. Mónica quests (Jannette won the duel I had seduction 5) She told me to pay her a visit later. I continued with Downtown´s quests (finished 'em all but the ship one), I went back Sta. Monica to do the ship quest, but I went before to the Asylum... Jannette was there, but I only had two lines of dialog, both of them saying goodbye... Is that ok? Should I wait till Hollywood to get my encounter?

Um... actually I´ve finished even Malkavian´s House quest, and I get nothing from Jannette out of two lines of dialogs saying more or less "blablanicetoseeyougoodbyeblabla" and "blablayou`reaf*****wh*r*goodbyeblabla"
I had 5 seduction (now too indeed), I gave her the pendant, I always chose the "seduction" answer, she killed her sister... Do I need higher seduction? I can go up to 6, but I don´t want to rise it more... What level was yours?

I've replayed two times Vampires without being able to trigger the hot scene with Jeanette. According to some people on other forums it is even not necessary to give her the medallion from the hotel, although some say it works only with Toreadors.
Anyway I already played with a Tremere and with a Ventrue, both males with 8+ seduction points and I was never able to obtain any conversation options aside from "What's going on in S. Monica" and another one similar.

holy666diver said to be playing as a Gangrel, and got it... sigh...

I'm not sure if there is a definate formula to getting Jeanette in the sack, as I've never seen one posted anywhere...not sure if what clan you are makes a differance (would she sleep with a Nosferatu? I mean I know she's easy but come on...).
After giving Jeanette the locket and making sure she's always happy (I think this is necessary, it even suggests so in the gamebanshee walkthrough), I took her side against Therese until she killed her (other) self. After that, I made sure not to enter the asylum again until the hollywood hub opened up.
When I did see her, the dialogue option of asking "are you lonely?" popped up and I took it, then answered the next obvious dialogue option when she asked "are there any games we can play?" (hint: it's not board games) and that was it (I believe my seduction was a 5 at the time, maybe 6?). I'm not sure if it required any seduction, as none of the dialogue options were pink.
I'm not sure if there's a critical step to miss that will break any possibility of that dialogue option coming up, I played it once before as a Tremere and blew it. Guess I just got lucky this time...good luck, guys!

Here's what worked for me *spoiler*
**spoiler start**
I also am not sure if there is a specific formula, however here’s what worked for me. I was a Toreador with Seduction=6. I did give Jeanette the necklace, I selected all of the seduction responses and I always sided with her in the Sibling Rivalry ending. Jeanette did kill Terese and I did get the "Do visit me sometimes" response at the end, which I believe is the indication that the seduction sequence has been triggered. I did return multiple times during the Santa Monica side quests and some of the Downtown quests without getting the "are you lonely?" response.
When I returned after completing the “Elizabeth Dane” quest (before returning to the Prince) the seduction scene was triggered. I was disappointed that Troika felt that they needed to provide a black screen as opposed to something that would have satisfied the “Censors”. Seems really crazy that it’s ok to produce something that shows knifes cutting halfway through necks and body parts going in multiple directions with blood but bedroom scenes have to be cut…really sad commentary on our society.
IMHO I believe that the seduction levels >= 5 is a real bonus as it really makes a ready supply of blood available early in the game.
**spoiler end**
All in all I’m really enjoying the game.

Yep, in every pub in the four areas there is a chick who can be seduced for a... free drink!
AH, it seems that triggering the encounter with Jeanette will cost you 3 XP points as you have to give her the locker (The "spiritual release" quest cannot be completed) and siding with Jeanette at the end of the "Silbling rivalry" quest wil give only 4XP instead of 6XP for coming to a peaceful solution. Investing in seduction is good to trigger some dialogues that I consider more easter eggs than anything else. Having 9 points of persuasion is more important and will give the identical results in many quests.

I'm guessing that now as I decided to make the sisters live together (I thought that by shooting therese jeanette would kill both of them) that I wont get the chance to get it on with either sister? Will I still be able to do it when I repeat the game as a venture? (Im a toreodor at the moment but I wanted to play a different route on the second attempt)

i totally agree. back when i saw the videos you see venus take off her shirt and i was like whoah, this is gonna be a crazy game. instead, you merely get to seduce people and hear a sex scene with a black screen.
In America our society is oddly more open to violence while insanely overeacting with anything remotely sexual(the superbowl incident). its kinda the reverse in Europe i know, but I wonder if the European version was more......explicit?
