It'd be a kinda boring section/game if you could just catch the werewolf's eye and say "Stop. For the last 30 seconds you've been chasing a rabbit, but it got away. When I have left this area, you will be overcome with the urge to go to the largest tower in the city, go to the penthouse apartment and kill everyone in there, then return to me at my haven and await other orders"

Or even worse, using presence to make it fall in love with you... And having to have horrid horrid werewolf nookie with it... Ewwww
I was Diablorised once. I got better.

Well, if you were like me and didn't know that werewolves have a soft spot for social skills, it would take some guts to tell that monster to "Stop" and "Sit down!". From the impression the game gives you, a werewolf is more like your
personal nightmare come true...
So it is just censequent to make the werewolf able to keep up with you and resistant to mental attacks. ;)

A couple people keep saying this, but its not true...Werewolves are not immortal...they have slighly above avaerage lifespans, but more often than not die before old age sets in.

Also a little in-game joke we have is "What do you call 100 8th Generation Vampires and 1 raged out Get of Fenris? A fair fight." That should give you a clue on how badly a werewolf can maul a vampire. Everytime you cause damage to a Werewolf, he gets "stronger" and can heal in battle while a vampire cannot.

We could argue the obvious flaws in the statemate and point out game mechanics and cannon ocassions where single vampires have taken down entier packs of garou. But I think we are straying from the original topic. Suffice to say, Dem werewolves is bad news! The game sufficently represents the way combat bewteen a Smart Vampire and an Average Garou goes:

Vampire: RUN AWAY! AGHR!
Werewolf: RRARG! Chase the undead scum!!

See...i don't think Nines killed that Garou...i think that was a fake head because according to the P&P game...you kill a Garou in Chrinos and it reverts back to human form, unless it was a metis...so, I think Nines set that whole dealie up myself...

Dear Mr/Mrs Pennypincher.

I thank you for the information and insight about the World of Darkness which you provided in this thread and in others across this board.

Since I am utterly fascinated by the WoD setting and its video game offspring (Redemption and Bloodlines) I would love to learn more about it.

Yet sadly I lack the resources to further delve into the matter.

Therefore I would be overjoyed if you could answer some of my questions.

- The official Time of Judgement already happened as I understand it. What exactly came to pass according to White Wolf?

- The new setting Vampire: The Requiem is supposed to be set after the Time of Judgement? In which way is it different from Vampire: The Masquerade?

If you are too occupied to answer my questions I would also appreciate it if you could direct to some yielding sources in this inter web.

PS:
Please bear with me since English is not my first language.

Enough said.

I, for one, second this motion, and move that we move it to another thread in fear of the almighty rise of the Anti-moderators, who shall destroy this thread in a sea of blood. :p
