I got as far as the barrier to the abbey on Hook Coast to be recalled to the Guild to fetch a book from Maze's study which was supposed to dispel the barrier. I watched my mother be kidnapped by minions & then collected the book with the advice that the Guildmaster should be able to translate it! HAH! My guildmaster seems to be stuck on the advice to go to Bargate Prison - I have revisited it but there's nothing there & he will not look at the book. I can't progress with the main quest until he does. Any ideas or have I got a bugged copy?
Hmm...that sure is strange he should just read from the passage when you approach the barrier but I don't know, you did escape Bargate with your mother than he shouldn't really worry it seems you got a slooowww guildmaster there who's mind is even older than he already is

Looks like I'll be ancient before I finish the game in that case! Oh well back to the other quests in the hope that it'll jump start his feeble mind!! Thanks anyway
