Can someone explain the culaconsole to me so i can get it to work. Ive been to weasel's link where it tells you what to do, done everything that it tells you to but nothing happens when i press ctrl-space.......
Is culaconsole a program u download or somthing???????????????
And whats that ctrl-Q thing? it sounds like a crack up from what ive read.
CULAconsole
CLUAConsole is built into BG.
It's a tool that was used by the programers to test the aspects of the game.
Remember that the method for BGII is different from BGI
You have to type in debug=1 at the top of a file
and then ctrl-space in the game
an empty field should apper towards the bottom of the screen that you can type in
That is where you typr your CLUA commands.
Note:- I haven't actually used this for SoA or ToB, but I did in BG a while back. I apologies for any erroneous discrepancies on my part.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, WATCH IT! I'm HUGE!!
2. Look for the heading called [Program Options]
3. Insert a line called Debug Mode=1
I believe it needs to look exactly like this as well. It's been a way since I have done this.
Try:
Debug Mode=1
or
DebugMode=1
IIRC you will need a space between Debug and Mode. Try it both ways.

You must add
Debug Mode=1
in Baldur.ini, in the program Options selection.
Yhe first line in the file will be program options, put it in the line after that. It must be the sole statement in the line, Use return to give it its own line and make sure you dont overwrite anything.
In the game, once youd id this correctly, cntrl space will bring up a line on the bottom of the screen, in the monster whoming screen, and allow you to type in commands. for a better exlaination go to gamebasnhee, or the ironworks cheats section.
