Help! ToSC: Killed Karoug too soon?...(Spoilers I guess...)

Post by Der-draigen »

Balduran's Ship: Got to the top and after a *ahem* few *ahem* re-loads, I opened fire on Karoug and what's-her-name immediately, before they even started talking. To my surprise, this took them out right away, before they changed. Yippee, I thought. Then I get back to the village and realize I don't have Maralee's baby -- he wasn't on Karoug when he fell. Worse, when I talk to the Head Woman there (don't recall her name, grrr) it says I haven't killed all the beasties yet.

Is there a re-set or anything? Some code I can type in or something? I have a save but it's waaaay back in Ulgoth's Beard and I'd have to repeat the whole horrid mess...

Thanks! :)

Hey Der Draigen, you want to gownload GateKeeper. Its is a saved game editor. It should allow you to find the creature code for Karoug. With that use the Clua-Consol cheat enabled and just add him in. I hope this helps.
Check the sticky threads or run a search for info on CLua-Consol and Gate Keeper.
Also you may be able to add the item but I don't know if this would cause the dialouge you need, you may have to kill him.

Thanks!

After reading your post, I looked in Gatekeeper but can't find where the creature codes are...

I don't know on GateKeeper, because I've never used it, but I do know on ShadowKeeper, because I have it. At the top there are headers. One should say view. Open that and in mine there is a creature browser, I don't know hoe that is for BG1. ANYBODY else with any coments would be helpful,
Hope this helps. Check all the options you can.
