HELP! social feats

Hi all & happy new year all at Gamebanshee bloodlines, i was wondering if anyone could help me out.

Ive been playing through bloodlines for a bit now, as a gangrel (always my fave in the whitewolf tabletop) and ive managed to get to hollywood, but i find myself in a bit of a spot.

I have 3 active quests (dish best served cold, find the full DMP tape and find some love for romero) yet im having problems getting any NPCs to have any of it. My understanding is that high persuasion/intimidation will help me get the favourable responses from restaurant ponce, smutman and hookers respectively, i have 3 in each feat, but the bleeders just wont play ball. Is the requirement for each higher than 3? have i spent too much on my arse-kicking powers? am i Captain Spaz?

Any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers.

There's a way to do all of those quests without persuasion/ intimidate, I think. But I know *for sure* that my Gangrel with 4 Persuade/ Seduction did all of those quests fine (the pimping and dish are the only ones you need social in, I believe). If you can't scrape together the few xp for another point in Persuade (that's all you need, I believe), then open the console and type "giftxp 8" without quotes, and your xp total will be set to 8 (wiping out how many xp you had before).

To get access to the console, go to this thread, and read it there. And after you use this cheat, if you're afraid of balance and such, just save up your xp, and when you reach the amount you added by cheating, type "giftxp 0", and you're back to the original slate. Hope this helped!

There is a way to get full DMP tape without talking to smut peddler:

In his office downstairs you will find a computer. Make sure you crack all paswords and under personal you will find a proper response to phone call.

Try upping intimidate a few as a gangrel.

Yay! thanks muchly for the help, ive found the info on the DMP tape, used the experience to boost my persuasion to 4 and was thus able to do the romero and restaurant critic quests!

its all flowing nicely again now, cheers again for your help
