the land deed costs something like 5000gp, plus bribes. It is the same in every stronghold. Can I just ask if anybody knows the console ID for the land deed, as I have joined Redoran and Hlaalu (on GoTY version with Tribunal and Bloodmoon installed) and already have Indarys manor.

Bribes? Who needs those? I just bought the Hlaalu one for 3000.. :D I guess it depends on what type af character you play. My Personality is 125.

you still make money tho

5000 for land contract
10000 at most for bribes

thats 15k spent on the stronghold and you get:

Ebony longsword 20,000 value
5 Ebony darts 10,000 value altogether

and as far as i know you dont get anything like that in telvani stronghold not sure about redoran never played them.

Bribes for strongholds? Never had to pay those. Just 5000, and nothing for Hlaalu (just steal the contract from the Hall of Records).

@Opperative

For the Telvanni, you don't spend anything to get the contract, all you have to do is some little errands and you gat a fabulous stronghold with dwemer guards ;) Tres bien, ou? :p

The Telvanni stronghold is very cool on the surface of it, but it is not what one would call the best in terms of layout and space... I'm not exactly into huge collections and displays of weapons, armor etc, and even I find it cramped..
Not to mention that it is way the hell out in the middle of nowhere and subject to frequent ash storms. :rolleyes:
Surely the developers could have put in a more pleasant location somewhere in the Grazelands.
