Where the heck is Balthazar (possible script error?)

Ok, I've completed Sendai's enclave and Abazigal's lair, and now I am supposed to go and fight Balthazar, right? So I go to Saemon Havarian, sneak through the gate with him, and fight some random monks that Saemon has just betrayed (what a surprise).

I head into the throne room, look around, and Balthazar is nowhere to be found. Ok, I think to myself, maybe he's only here during the daytime. Head back to the pocket, rest, come back, still no Balthazar. I then exited the throne room, went down the stairs to the gate, fought a ton of monks, and went back. STILL no Balthazar.

Next, I go the tavern and talk to the barkeep, who tells me about the two people who have the key for the graveyard. I talked to them, got the key went through the graveyard entrance to the throne room and...no Balthazar.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is there something I missed? If it is a script error, can I somehow reset the script and start over? Any help with this frustrating matter would be much appreciated..

no idea man, as soon as i walked into the room, i was "teleported" right in front of him...
maybe try going through the grave and see if he pops up...

I've already gone through the graveyard, to no avail. A strange thing did happen to me there earlier though. The first time I visited Amkethran, I did the quest where you have to save that girls soul. I killed the lich, went upstairs to the locked door, and tried to open it. It said locked, but I clicked it once more for no real reason, and it let me go through the door!

Perhaps this is where I screwed up, maybe I wasn't supposed to go through that door at that time. Just a thought.

I downloaded infinity explorer and messed around with it, and I think I found the script that I broke. The problem is that i have no idea how to un-break it. So for now I am still stuck in Balthazars freaking throne room. Why oh why... I would very much appreciate any help with this before I gouge my eyeballs from their sockets.
