Help about Weapons and Quest

I am in hollywood, and Im still using a knife... Aren't there any shops for weapons??
I have the quest to kill the stripper/hunter. I know I need to lock the screens with the comp and mess up the change machine, but how I do the change machine if i have no exp left and only 5 lockpic with Buff?

You can buy better weapons from fat larry in the downtown district, and from the store in the holywooddistrict.

You dont need to rob the vending machine, then you just have to wait longer.

in case you are ondering, fat larry is behind that white truck near the right of the taxi(on the corner down the road), He sells the fireax, an awesome weapon that alot of poeple use the majority of the game(until samuri swords in chinatown)
