Umm, do you mean sources or characters, because my character has at least two copies of every book.

I've got most of the books, and also use a mod that adds all the Daggerfall books--got a few of those, too. Keep 'em in Abu's Retreat, a great house mod that DW first told me about. Great way to spend a little time after my character gets tired of beating on dremoras and the like. :D
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I've never considered collecting all the books in the game, an odd little hobby I might become interested in soon... :)
But for what it's worth, I have about 1 book, in total, in my Manor in Balmora (which I stole) but there is most likely some randomnly placed in my Telvanni Stronghold which I wasn't aware of (mainly because I didn't care!).

All I do is open the book and hapefully get some stats, but it does sound challenging to collect them all. I might give it a try ;)
