Best Class
What do you think the most helpful and best jedi class is for you to play as?
Hmm, my watchman was never threatened after Dantooine (my first planet). Could make any items I wanted, which meant I pretty quickly got the best arms and armor available. How about Atton dual wielding blasters averaging 30-35 points of damage? (made quick work of the Twi'lek ladies on Nar Shadda) Just look at all the item upgrades and imagine easily being able to make any combination you want, aside from lightsaber crystals. Not to mention ever having to worry about who I brought along for skills, just bringing along whomever would be best at dealing damage. I also was able to easily have enough wisdom and force points to do anything I wanted with force powers. If it's that easy to stun everyone on the last planet as a watchman (including the bosses), I can't imagine it being still easier as a sith lord/jedi master.....
I'd say consular and than jedi master/sith lord. Throughout the entire game you can go mostly without a lightsaber as a consular if you have stasis field and force wave imo. They can't even touch you if you use force wave. Plus with I believe Force Affinity? You gain force points as you fight. So you never run low. I haven't played a guardian and then a weapons master/maurauder yet. But basically throughout the entire game as I played the only person who actually resisted my force powers was...
*SPOILER*
Kreia at the final fight on Malachor V. I beat Darth Sion and the other sith lord so easily it wasn't even funny. I could use stasis field and hack them down. I personally thought Malak and Darth Bandon in the first game as a consular were a lot tougher than any of the three sith lords in this game were. I mean with Darth Bandon I couldn't even affect him usually with any of my force powers. Same with Malak most of the time. And Atris is a joke. No matter what you are. Anyways not that this game is concentrated on combat, just my opinions.

My suggestion, would probably be a combination jedi....starting out as a sentinel with a high INT. Concentrate on skill based feats, put points in demo, persuade, repair, stealth, and awareness.
Then at lvl 15 prestige to a weapon master or maurader (sp?)....concentrate on weapon feats and general kickin butt. By the end of the game you'll have the skills to create any part you need and then whoop Sion with one saber tied behind your back!!

Gentlemen. You can't fight in here. This is the War Room!
One other advantage of the Watchman I forgot to mention is the lovely combination of stasis field and sneak attack. Throughout Malachor V I'd open the door, see the five to six bad guys, and immediately "cast" stasis field. One flurry each and they're dead. An extra 7d6 damage per attack goes a long way. Probably would work just as nicely with an Assasin and Insanity.

I am currently playing as a full ds Guardian ==> Murader and let me tell you, holy crap I do so much damage its insane! I amd level 31 and my right hand saber does 32-88 dmg and my left hand does 28-55. I could not believe it! My first game was a neutral sentinal / watchman...(it sucked majorly) I beat the game with him, but it was stupid. By far, Murader is sweet except for lack of skills.I used Hanharr for Uber-Melee (along with my char) and Demo/Repair. I used G0-T0 as backup range and Security/Awareness/Repair. Though G0-T0 could be stronger, my Hanharr / Main Char combo is devastating. This is my second time through. (I had another ls woman but that got boring so this is technically my second going all the way through.) Sorry about the bad grammar in this post, i'm TIRED. I hope you enjoy my input. Thanks.
P.S. My Dark Jedi Knight robes (with biorestore V) and dual red lightsaber/short lightsaber looks SO SWEET!!!!!!!!

I definantly belive that the Guardian/Marauder combo is the most powerful. I am playing full DS Guardian/Marauder and the game is a breeze. At level 18 I killed the Jedi masters in the enclave (Vrook and the one from Onderon) with a single round each. (Master speed + Master Flurry + Master Dueling = Average 40-70 damage per hit and 4 hits per round) And I was like level 12 or something on Korriban and brought Sion down to 1/4th health about 3 times (in less than 10 seconds) before Kreia made me run.
