The workbench, please help!

I'm at Telos but I've not been able to use a workbench yet. I move forward to a bench and press the button when the icon "use" appears but nothing happens. The labs are working but not the workbenchs. I wonder if my game has a bug or something, or am I stupid? Please help!

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm past Telos, in the Ebon Hawk, and I still can't use the workbench!

I thought about that. I'm pretty sure that's not it though. I have at least one item that's listed as "Fully Upgradeable."

that is messed up, but you should always be able to use the workbench, even if you have nothing to upgrade...I can only suggest a restart, because I think you hit a horrible glitch...unless you decide to play through it...

workbench glitch

That never happened to me, but i've had my share of workbench glitches as well.... In a previous game, everything that i broke down was only worth one component, which was pretty annoying and so i couldn't get any good upgrades =(
