Well, I think it's about time for another thread (if there hasn't been already, even though there probably was) about your choice of ethics.

So...

Do you prefer to be Dark, Light, or Neutral?

I myself like to be completly evil.

Personally I prefer Lightside,
I get this sort of strange feeling whenever I do something dark,
So I just stay light, and I just like the light more than the darkside :D

I like the LS I mean I even like listening to the sort of Luke Skywalker theme music when you get the LS points. lol. But also if I do anything dark I hate it. Because I feel bad inside. Because the choices you make in the game really do affect the outlook. Basically when I make the choices I make them based on how I think I'd respond to that. Not just this response because that's the LS point answer or DS point answer. I think it's more fun if you play how you actually would in rl.

I know what you mean. Even though it's just a game, some of the choices are so unbelievably cruel and senseless.

I marked neutral, but it means both. I like being both.

You ever have one of those days at work when you come home and want to be "unbelievably cruel and senseless" to the made up computer characters?

You ever feel the need to help save humanity and be all warm and fuzzy inside while still causing monstrous sith carnage and chaos?

You gotta love it! I just happen to love it as good or evil...

Yeah, it's still fun for both, but I tend to prefer being light side.

yeah I've played both sides. I play DS at least once just to know how things happen coming from a different perspective. In KOTOR I I play a DS Guardian and he was awesome. The evil conversation choices that I chose bothered me, but it's always fun to try a different thing. But still I'd rather play LS. DS just makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong, even though it's only a game.

Same hear, I tried playing DS in KOTOR 1 but I couldn't bring myself to do it, so I ended up playing LS again ;) :D

I started playing the DS but didn't really like how it was going. So now I am playing a LS character again.
There is no emotion; There is peace.
There is no ignorcance; There is knowledge.
There is no passion; There is serenity.
There is no chaos; There is harmony.
There is no death; There is the Force.

May the Force be with you...

Darkside...

Darkside was more fun I played it completely twice through on DS and I'm currently playing lightside which i find to be a little bit easier to gain influence, LS points seem to come pretty easily also I was completely light side by Dantooine my first planet after telos

Apathy is death....

I had to go with neutral on this one. I'd rather not be bound by law or chaos, good or evil, or kharma. I get enough of that in real life. Plus when you don't worry about ls or ds choices, you have a better chance of influencing companions, gaining credits, and so forth.

I guess I still tend to lean light side, just because there is no need for "senseless" slaughter. But that doesn't mean I won't snap Akkere in two to get his thorium charges ;)

The True Nature of Somni...

For the Somni of Knowledge, Somni would always be on the Lightside...

For the Somni of Deepening, Somni's heart is tore apart by the evil slaughter
and sinful nature of the darkside...

For the Somni of Chronicles, Somni studies the ways of the Sith and the Mysterious Somni found the same repeating goals of their religion:Threaten, Slaughter, Steal, Power, and Victory...Then comes Death...

For the Somni of Obituary, Somni surrenders to those who are weaker than him to show the pain...

For the Somni of Despondency, Somni always finds hope...

For the Somni of Testimonial, Somni helps all who lust the need...

For the Somni of Zinnia, Somni will bloom with everlasting life instead of the breakening of life...That is what Somni is...

The Hiding Somni will reveal a new clue. The Somni is very Knowledgable...

Do not underestimate my Knowledge you fool! I come in peace and in
helping manner but you humiliate me as if I was a lost people. But it doesn't
matter what you say about me. Surely you and others are not foolish enough to understand the real meanings to what Somni wrote. But you and others are blind, they cannot see the truth. They see but they are blind. They hear but they are deaf because they cannot understand. Do not speak unless you know what you say is true. Half-truths, lies, guesses. Those are but lies! If this is the type of information you have half-truths, lies, guesses then you yourself is a liar. Don't come up to Somni with such stupidity...For he knows knowledge...

Yeah...I play the game a lot, too.

I'm all for people coming on here and offering advice about the game, and I'm sure it is much appreciated. However, people such as yourself that take on such elaborate (and...hmm, condescending would probably fit) persona on a simple message board discussing an Xbox game are a bit "out there."

I must say I would class myself more of a lightside player but enjoy my DS Guardian in Kotor1 especially as she's fully dark and her apearence has changed, (for a computer sprite it's strangely attractive, (but don't tell my missus I said that))
Donkeys are aliens!
