well...

Have you downloaded the patch? Is your computer up to the (HIGH!!) standardst the game requires? I'm not a big understander of the computer language, but I do know that the patch does help the game run a lot smoother, sometimes playing for three to four hours without crashing...if you have the patch and the system requirements, then uh...sorry, hope you figure something out!
Good luck,

I have to agree with Ice. I ran myself stuck in a door once, ran myself stuck in a table... Killing a vampirekiller in a masquerade area costs you humanity, numerous glitches, desktopcrashes ( although less common, thank god), a "conversation hangup" during the ship mission.... Argh! Not to mention the system requirements... *Sigh*
You know, two more months of working on bugfixing, and the game may have been so much better.
Anyone who knows what a Hemothorax is:
a) is watching to much Trauma on discovery channel
b) is a doctor
c) is completely obsessed by blood and wounds
d) is all of above

Maybe I am lucky, I've only had a few glitches, like not getting my money from LaCroix after the bad food ratings.. However I can't use the cheat console, I was having a nasty time with getting past the bad guys in the Sabbat warehouse, I had no money, and no armor or anything. I was very vulnerable to attacks, still am. I am soo broke in the game.. aggh.. anywhoo.. anyone know why the cheat command/console won't work? I can pull the screen up, but then I cant move, I can do nothing with my keyboard; my mouse works.. but no keyboard.

The workaround: either press esc before going into the console (so you're in the menu when you open the console), or after opening it in the actual game, type chareditor or charedit (not sure which one, but the autocomplete feature will show you which). This brings you to the character sheet with full control again.

Seeing as how the console was mostly a development tool with specific purposes in mind, this was not a bug, and more than likely a 'feature.' Now that we have to use the console to fix the game and/or cheat, though, it sure seems like a 'bug'.

I guess I was lucky. Aside from the Leopold bug, I only experienced a few tiny ones which I barely noticed....

Everyone keeps talking about how buggy this game is, and many reviews butcher it completely because of it. But the truth is that I've seen worse. Much, much worse. And the reviewers didn't complain there.

The bugs I've experienced so far didn't really bother me, and the game has only crashed twice. I remember when I first got Morrowind - that crashed every twenty minutes or so before the first patch. After lots of patches, it still crashes.

When I first got Neverwinter Nights, there were serious crashing problems and even one of the major quests couldn't be completed (the intellect devourer's brain). But the reviewers somehow failed to mention that.

when you start your game, press esc, then continue, and then open the console. ;)

The only bug I had so far was when I was stuck in an elevator once and couldn't get out anymore. Otherwise the game is quite stable and with activating the mouse scrolling for looking up and down it works fine.
I am playing on a P4 2.66 Ghz, 768 MB RAM, 128 MB ATI Radeon 9700, Win XP SP2.
Just as an comparison:
I bought another game about a month ago, The Fall: Last Days of Gaia, awesome ratings at several german Game Magazines, really nice Endtime/Apocalyptic Game ( If you loved Fallout and Fallout 2, it looked like heaven ), but it's so bugy, next to no side quests worked properly. It really looked like the buyer is going to do the Beta. They are now on version 1.6 and working on 1.7.

I am a big fan of Vampire: The Masquerade as pen and paper RPG and now I am a big fan of Vampire: Bloodlines...

I hope there is going to be an Add On....
