NPC Walkthroughs

Post by Sinclair »

Guides as to what you have to do to gain Influence with the various party members would be very useful, and I can't find any.

I find the Influence system to be quite annoying, you have to drag characters along with you to get Influence, and it's very easy to miss things. I've probably screwed up any possibility of resolving all the NPC "issues" with my game.

Check out the following thread. I was able to convert everyone with assistance from some of the tips here.

It's too damn late now. Aaargh I am ticked off. I also can't get Atton to tell me about his past. Every time, it's an influence failure. Aargh.

Just take him everywhere with you. That's what I did the first time I played. He was my 2nd best character (after me) and he was the 1st to convert to a Jedi.

BTW: Have you piad the Twi'lek in the Refugee Sector 25 credits? I think you have to pay the guy to get Atton to start talking about his past.

You don't have to have Atton with you when you talk to the Twi'lek, and even if you do, they ignore him. After you talk to the Twi'lek, talk to Atton separately and new dialog options should appear. Either bring him in or talk to him on the Hawk.

atton n friends

As for influence, its kinda easy you just gotta be ready to coordinate who comes with you ahead of time in order to activate everyone. Know ths Mira/Diciple become converted by talking and only talking (Mira needs to be spoken to off ship, then on ship and then on nar shadaa) Handmaiden needs to be fought three times (each fight comes active when a planet is done, thats how I passed it atleast). Atton I worked on while on Telos. I simply took the bad murder route that he so loves and supports, even on my good guy runs. I then later converted him as a good, its easy to manipulate this system. examples of atton influence would be killing the secretary at the exchange for no reason, or killing the guy whos appartment you rob at the beggining. That itself should be enough, along with the info gained on Nar Shadaa. As for Bao Dur, he seems to only respond to good actions, the two easiest would be to heal the veteran in the refugee sector, and to save the mandalorian on the ridge. Those two actions should be enough to convert that spike headed dolt.
