So i have decided to cheat but can't. I read the page on the forum of how to get the console to work so i tried and i don't think i got it right?? i'm lost at the part where it says #3 target- patch to vampire exe file. #4 write console behind path could someone please explain it more to me i'm afraid i will type something wrong and lose all my work in the game? please help ........... what does it mean when it says #7 go near the boat??? please help i am lost!!!! why can't they make it simple and you just press ~.......................... i'm going crazy!!!! any help please???
The instructions you are using seem a lot more complicated than is required. For me this required only a couple simple steps. Just go to the short cut icon from which you activate Bloodlines and right click on it. From the list you get, select properties. On the properties page (at least in Windows XP) go to the "shortcut" tab and look for the "target" line. This line will have the location of your Bloodlines .exe file. Leave this intact, but add the following to the end of target line. . .
a space and then -console
hit OK and then start up Bloodlines with the modified shortcut.
When you first start up, you should now have an open console window on the first menu screen. Close the console window and load the game you want to modify.
Once the game is loaded (and this is important, since using the console while actually directly in-game can lead to lock-ups), hit escape so you get to the menu window (Continue-Load Game-and so on). Once you are out to this first menu window you can open the console using the tilde key (~), type in and submit commands, close the console, and return to your game safely.
Hope this makes sense. . .

I got a HOT tip for you,
Buy the flamethrower if you think you can beat her.
The second tip is, If you have celerity or/and potence use them! get in VERY close to her and hit her with the katana, watch out for the arms you chop off though, they will rise to a new, weaker Ming Xiao, but they are disturbing.
If you are wondering why Im telling you to get close is because She cant hit you from there, she has a terrible damage with those arms.
And If you are a unit with high firearms and NOT melee, just get in close to her and fire with every weapon you got, try to hit her arms and then directly kill the underlings that will rise in to new ones.
3 spells you can use on her(if you have many bloodbags), Vision of death(malk), Suicide(tremere, ventrue), bloodstrike(tremere).
One more thing, It will get easier when you beat her for the second time..
Good luck

I tried doing the above but when I go to the first menu window and press the tilde key, the console does not appear...
...what have I done wrong?
EDIT: It's working now figured it out
