What To Buy?
I usually finish games with a lot of money (I never bought anything unless I neede to EX. Droid Head). So I'm about to go to the Onderon Palace and I know I should buy all I need right now. Anyone know where to go? (Planet and Place) (I'm DS BTW)

Are you looking for everything??? Like best one handed melee weapon, best two handed melee weapon, best rifle, best pistols, best armor, etc...??? I think the best double handed melee weapon is probably the double bladed vibro blade because it starts out at 6-20 dmg and is fully upgradeable. I would say the Transhodian Sword for best single handed melee weapon but it's not upgradeable at all. I think the dmg is like 5-16 and +2 attack modifier. Can't remember the rest. Anyways can't help you with where to find all this stuff though.
Somebody from somethin somethin...

As far as melee goes....I'd go with a sith tremor sword or the echani vibrosword, both start at 4-14 dmg, +2 attack, + 3 bonus dmg (sonic/cold respectively) and both are fully upgradeable. Blaster pistols....I would go with a mandalorian disentigrator....starting dmg 6-16, and the zabrak heavy pistol, starting dmg 5-14. Both can be fully upgradeable. I also like the manalorian assault rifle, if you want to go that route. For a ranged character I would equip w/ flex heavy armor, with a +3 max dex bonus plus a flexible underlay, you can still have a good dex for ranged combat. for a melee character I would equip the mandalorian heavy armor, with the immunities it grants, your character will be able to rush into battle with sith lords and have no problems.
Now, since most of the items in the game are generated randomly, I can't tell you exactly where everything is....but most of these are pretty easy to come by, just keep your eyes open.
hope that helps

Gentlemen. You can't fight in here. This is the War Room!
Random random random random
There is no one place to buy these things. All merchants are random in product and the pick ups involving the "best" weapons are also random. So really your chances of getting ALL the best stuff is...well random at best.
(there is one mission where you set up some trade routes and at the end of this you get access to some higher quality items for sale)

the best loot is random...
i am at level 43 (about to restart... )
and while the stores are capped, you get medium to high medium level loot, the random treasure gets better the higher your level...
the easy way to think is this...
any weapon you mod yourself with high skills, (using items and force valor) is going to be 3-4 times more powerful...
buy the most powerful weapons and armor, that can be modified, and dump the rest.

Best Blaster Pistol: Mandalorian Disintegrator b/c unstoppable... second & third are (micro pulse & zabrak heavy)
Best Blaster rifle: Mandalorian heavy repeater
Best scope: crippling (depends on play style)
Best chamber: Mandalorian 3
Best cell: Pure Rylith
Best light saber: (depends on upgrades, see guide)
Best crystals: FULLNAME, Pontite, Solari, Barab ore, Hurrikane, Qixoni (other rares, like kaliburr, etc.... are good too , depends on play style)
Best Non-light saber melee (one handed): Sith Tremor Sword (better than echani vibro by exactly 1 damage)... but you might want to consider zabrak vibro because it give Finessee melee weapons feat if you don't have that.
Best edge: Ostrine
Best grip: superior Zabrak
Best cell: Sonic 3
(... depends on your play style tho)
Note: Sith tremor sword (full upgraded) actually better than light sabers without super-rare crystals.
Best Heavy armor: Felenar Armor (iotran braceman good also for effects)
Best Medium (toss up .. depends on DEX): Sith armor/verpine fiber mesh
Best Light armor: dont remember... dont use light armor anyway... your DEX bonus should be high enough that all your humanoid chars (jedi) should be using robes.
(DEX better than STR because or Finesse Feat: DEX = + melee (w/ finesse), + ranged, +def)
Best Robes: Ossluk keeper's, Nomi's, Baran Do Sage, etc. for light (depends on light/dark and effect you want)
Best visors: Target assessor (+2 dex +2 save + 2 feats) for dex, or force focusing visor, or circlet of saresh
Best armbands: FULLNAME's, Vao's, Nomi's
Best gaunlets: improved automation gloves (+5 DEX), Jal Shey Meditation(+2 wis +2 dex), Dominator (+5 STR),
Best belt: echo belt(+4 dex +10 stealth), Jal Shey belt(+2 wis + 20 force resist)
Best Implants: Phys Boost D-implant(lv 4)/System(lv 3), Mental boost D(lv4)/sys(lv3). Universal D-implant
have I missed anything?

Buy all the crystals. That's about it. Don't bother with medpacks, mines, grenades or stims, and go for the items that sound unique. (and are usually more expensive) Buy everything you want from the rodian on Dantooine before completing the planet since he'll be gone, same deal with both dealers on Onderon.
Some unique items cannot be upgraded though so be careful.
As far as saber/melee item upgrades go, try and get something that has the keen attribute.
If you find unique stuff, break it down they give loads of componenets, do it especially if its not upgradeable, just try and make sure that you use Bao-Dur or somebody, and then build lightsaber/melee upgrades with whats left.
