Throne of Bhaal - The Book *Spoilers*
Throne of Bhaal - The Book *Spoilers*
I just finished reading it while I was in the library and everyone thought my mother had died when I started crying. It's just too sad, why does Jaheira have to die? She was everything he had left in the world, the woman who loved him more than anything alive. And he lost her... why Oh god why! *cries harder* It's not fair... it's just not fair. He's got nothing now, and the way he cried and the things he said. It's just too sad to say, why did it have to happen... why why! It's not fair...

There's three books, writen by Philip Athans and Drew Karpyshyn. The third book sucks though, It's too sad and unecessary, though I read it anyway, and though it's wonderfully writen Drew Karpyshyn kills off all the characters, while Philip Athans is pretty good, he dosn't kill that many and gives out a good plot, the main character is a sellsword called Abdel Adrian - he's a fighter. The novels are very realistic.
I've read the first pages of both books on Amazon, and I have to say I hate the main character. He's too over the top and I can't relate to him what so ever. Overpowered to the core...

What do you mean over powered? All he has is a chainmail and a broadsword. That's all he has. He's not like Drizzt with two scimitars and magic boots and leather armor and the panther, or anyother far fetched character. He's a pretty down to earth guy, and if you mean overpowered in the third book, yeah I agreed. Drew K. makes him regenerate faster thal wolverine on steroids, he can like get his neck slashed our or bitten off by a wolf and it would regenerate in seconds. It's bullspit.
Three words,..............WOW
now that, that is said is it official Forgotten Realms published? Who published? How about date published?? Great news indeed,
right Boo,........Boo>
Yeah IT's official Forgotten Realms. Published by TSR, and it was first printed in 1999 (Baldur's Gate) While the other two were published 2000 and 2001. You can search at your local bookstore, I think you'll find them there under fantasy. All the books I got my girlfriend sends me, since you can't find english books of this type here in Italy.

You answered my statement for ToB.
As for SoA: he's still one of the largest, strongest persons on Faerun, so I consider that overpowered. And like I said; I prefer to identify myself with the character. I can hardly identify myself with a giant.

I don't think anyone could ever really identify, himself - per say, with Abdel. *But* He does want to make you be like him ^^ I'd love to be a 7 foot tall mountain of muscle. Besides, remember that he's that way because of the Bhaal essence.
