propylon indexes (indexi?)

Post by HiRo11er »

So not long ago I posted a thread where I, among other things, mentioned how I've pretty much done everything in the game by now. iof course, I was wrong. I have never found as much as a single propylon index anywhere! Do they even exist on the xbox version of the game? If I were to go vampire-style I might have to learn how to work those things...
Any help?

Yes, they exist in the XboX version, although you won't be able to get the Master Index. If you have done pretty much everything you should've ran across some. Just try to find them, and don't spoil your game by searching their locations in guides or faqs ;) . If you have a certain index, you can use that to travel to a Dunmeri stronghold. Eg if you have the Berandas index, you can use all portals that go to Berandas, but you can't use the portals in Berandas if you haven't got their respective index.

PS: the plural of index is indices ;)

The Four that i accidentally stumbled upon were-
1. In one of the ashlander tribes (cant remember which one).In the wise womans yurt.
2. This was in the Maar Gan temple. On the ground next to the giant rock.
3. Found this one in the actual fortress that the proplylon indexs are used.(although i cant remember which one)
The fourth one I cant remember because I dont actually ise them.I just collect them just in case.Sorry!
But the first two you need to have a good sneak skill or some kind of invisibility or cameleon spell or potion. :) Sorry i cant find any more!

Aaah... Thanks for info, guys. Of course, I have no idea what they look like, but I'm sure I'll catch on if I see one. Also, I will look for them myself, without cross-checking with Egg's list. Thanks for the list, though! :)

By the way, the xbox goty-game is the game of the year-version, which contains tribunal and bloodmoon expansions... & no plug-ins. (Wassa plug-in?)
(Wassa plug-in?)
Plug-in means Mod, which refers to unofficial (not Besthesda) player-created modules. There are many mods out there that do everything from improving game textures to adding NPCs, landmasses and extensive quests. Check out the mod sticky for more examples. ;)

note: Besthesda has actually created a handful of official modules, but the vast majority have been developed by the player modding community with the construction set that is part of the PC version of the game.
