Creatures/People Respawn ?

Post by Eternal-Element »

Hi all

Ive played morrowind before, never really completed it, but that's what im working on now. When i have needed help for quests, ive found this forum very helpful since there is quite a few "veterans" in here. Now i finally registered in here just in case i am the only one with the problem, so that i can post about it...

OK here it is... Im not new to bloodmoon or tribunal and have completed bloodmoon a few times now. But i would like to know if the wolves, bears, ricklings and the creatures on vvardenfell, respawn when i killed them.... i mean not right after of course, but after a load scene for example ?
Also, do the hostile "random" people who haven't got names respawn... you know, like Berserkers, Smugglers and Fryse Hags.. ?
That's all for now

Monsters and some non-unique NPC's will respawn, yes.

but not all npcs. For example, those fryse hags and berserkers will respawn, but all the criminals, smugglers, etc. that you find normally on Vvardenfell will not. Unless you use cheats to make them respawn.
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.

I only want the fryse hags and such to respawn cause then there wont come a day where morrowind is empty of badguys and nothing to slay

...If you ever run out of things to do in Morrowind, may I suggest a personal crusade to rid Vvardenfell of all living things? You'll stay busy for as long as you could possibly dream of... :)

It's certainly not nice, but you'd think there were some characters out there evil enough to take on such a bloody task... ;) Like a vampire that hates life or a power-hungry necromancer or something.

You're right, it can't be done, but if you're running out of ideas for things to do, and you feel prepared for a mission of that magnitude, go for it. It could easily be justified as an Umbra-esque feeling of having done it all, & wanting to die in battle... :D

Whats the point in being evil if there's nobody around to command, enslave or torture ;)

Agreed. :) Thread closed.
