Hi!
I am playing IWDII for the first time and I am a bit curious, how the XP are divided within my party. Why are the gained XP not equally distributed between the party members? The drow receives the most XP, followed by the two aasimars and then the human. Thus, the drow has now about 10,000 XP, whereas my human has about 4,000. Is that correct? Is there a possibility to make the game dividing the XP equally between the party members?

Basic question: party XP distribution?
Yeah, I guessed so, but I find it a little weird that the XP is shared unequally between the party member, even if the different ECLs are taken into account. That would mean that characters with a higher ECL receive a bigger share of the XP and therefore slow the level progress of the whole party... Is this possible?

They get the same amount of exp., but the ECL classes start with a bigger amount of exp.:
human start at 0 exp -> needs 1k to get to lev. 2, then 2k to get to lev. 3 (at total 3k exp), 3k to get to lev. 4 (at total 6k exp.), then 4k to get to lev. 5 (total 10k exp) etc.
Aesimar start at 1000 exp -> needs 2k to get to lev. 2 (at total 3k exp.), then 3k to get to lev. 3 (at total 6k exp), then 4k to get to lev. 4 (at total 10k exp.) etc
Drow start at 3000 exp -> needs 3k exp to get to lev. 2 (total 6k exp), then 4k exp to get to lev. 3 (total 10k exp), etc..
So after you have gained the first 6k exp. each char, in your screen you will see that the human is lev. 4 with 6k exp, Aesimar is lev. 3 with 7k exp, the Drow is lev.2 with 9k exp.
