Number of attacks is 0???? Help!!

Post by StillSouth »

I was playing away when all of a sudden i noticed that my PC wasn't attacking. I played with his weapons, spells etc...nothing. Then i had a look at his record and for some reason his # of attacks was set to 0. Does anyone know how this happened or how i can get it back? He's a Wild Mage. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled BG2, i even went as far as downloading shadow keeper to try and change it back but it doesn't work.

Thanks for the time.

Since you're playing a Wild Mage, it could be because of the Wild magic. Changing # of Attacks in Shadow Keeper won't help, you have to remove the specific Local Affect. Try resting, I remember some people said that the wild magic thing wears of after rest, I might be wrong though.

PS. No luck with your savegame yet, I'll keep trying.

I've rested, dispeled, lesser restored, you name it. I'm gonna try resting for about a week and see what happens. What a prick.

Thanks for trying with my game. When i tried to open it in shadow keeper it saif it was missing a cre file or something. Dunno if you can get that back though...

Yeah, same here. I'm kind of waiting for updates of other editors, so it's going to be a while.

The only thing I can think of is checking through the Local Affects and see if that's the cause. Either export the character, or zip the savegame, and send the file to me, I'll look into it for you.

Did you try "Remove Curse"? Curses don't go away after resting and can't be dispelled or cured. Did you try hasting or creating Melf's Meteorites (they have 5 attacks per round and I don't think that number can be changed) to see what happens?
