Congratulation!

And now go solo or do it again in heart of fury (I won't recommend the latter)

I deffinatly recommend Heart of Fury. Its a whole new level of the game. Added equipment and a lot tougher.

Ok, this is my opinion, not some ultimate truth

HoF gives monsters HitDice +x (20-100+) hitpoints, those are not eaten away by the better weapons easily (don't get me wrong, they are nice)
monsters gain insane thac0 -> meaning if you don't have AC 70+ (which only some monk/caster multiclass can achieve) you will get hit and it will hurt (even frontliner with high HP can't stand this long and as you will be jumped often it can be very frustrating.
So AC and to a degree HP's are nullified.
What does this mean?
Tactic wise you rely on summons as they are improved the same way as monster (what they are), not that attractive for me.
As said in the title just my 2 cents

I prefer to use ease-of-use mod for HoF weapons in normal game and have fun playing (not dying). Make your own rules (e.g. if he/she is dead, raise or live without that character)

You take on those goblins with the party, which has beaten the game do you not?
With a level one party it is doable, but oh so hard (things normaly done in mere seconds to minutes will take you hours).
Forget about rushing in battle. Instead prepare properly, use everything you have (item specials, innate abilities, spells for a killing zone, traps), use narrow spaces (doorway etc.), so only 1 enemy has to fight 2 to 3 of your guys, use summons as meat shield, rest often, try to lure one enemy to you, not the whole bunch, forget about damaging spells, disabling/charming is the key (your wiz/sorc should specialise here + lowering enemy saves).
In case of an ambush -> pray! (real life) but not to long, as your interaction will be needed!
