when you looked at the newspaper in the Shining hotel - did you think that there was an uncanny resemblance to the cannibal woman?
I didn't catch the back story enough to check and, being a Malk last time through, dialogue options were strange so it was difficult to evaluate some situations - but is she the naughty mommy? presumably it is the child's ghost in the hotel - so as the diary suggested that either parent could be the diabolical one, I just wondered.

Why your guess is wrong
1) After getting the elevators started you go up. A room on the other side of the stairs opens without you touching the door. There should be a toy dog coming out of the room. In the room there are drawings by children. One of them has a picture on it with the family where the father is shown enshrouded in flames.
2) The diary you find in the kitchen is written by the ghost and clearly states that her husband is going mad with jealousy (?possibly a malkavian close using dementation?) and that in the end he storms in on her saying something to the effect of not letting her and the kids ever go (you even get a quest out of it to release her from the hotel).
3) It's the woman (unless the man has learned to twist his voice) trying to protect you from the worst he is trying to do by giving warnings.
4) Pisha said she died 250 or so years ago.

there are many people, they are not me!
thanks - thinking about it after I had posted, I realised that there were other female characters who also had that similar bone-structure.
In England, Pisha's fashion-sense/hairstyle would be described as Chav-culture!
I am tempted to get rid of her sometime when my in-game character is right for that decision. Masquerade Violation or not - it rankles needing to let her have the TV guy on toast.
I would wait until after the Giovanni mansion quest so as not to lose out on her trade though.
