The Pier****SPOILERS****
I am having troubles getting to the peir so I can get on the ship. I have done all the Missions that I am able to do up to this point. The gates are still locked to the Pier. PLEASE can some one help me?
You won't get to the ship from the pier. Go down to the beach, where the thin-blooded types are hanging around, and start wading out into the water. If you squint, you can see the shape of a small boat. Once you get to it, you will suddenly appear out at sea, looking up a long rope ladder on the side of the Elizabeth Dane.
I'm just a little farther along on this mission than you are, and I'm really stuck, for only the second time this game so far (the first was at the art gallery).

I was very sneaky, and accomplished 2/3 of the objectives on the Elizabeth Dane without trouble, but then there came a point where I just couldn't sneak past all the cops to get to the sarcophagus. Then again, my Gangrel isn't unusually sneaky (just 4), so maybe that's the problem. I get as far as being perched on top of a cargo container where there is a wrench. I toss the wrench to distract a cop, leap to the ground, take two steps and he's already seeing me and shooting at me. In seconds, I'm either fighting or trying to outrun five cops, and since I'm trying to impress the Prince, I'm not killing any cops.
At times like this, the game feels unfair. Normal feeding leaves the living victim in a daze, but feeding during combat leaves them ready to immediately continue the fight unless you drain them dry. Likewise, there doesn't seem to be anyway to knock people unconscious or break their legs or anything else non-lethal. Next time I reload this game, I'm just going to go on a cop-killing spree. Hopefully I don't lose too much humanity.

Unless you have Obfuscate which you obviously don't because your playing as a Gangrel the only way I know of to complete the mission without killing anybody is to have either a high Intimidate or Persuasion skill and talk to the first cop you see when you board the ship. If your Intimidate or Persuasion skill is high enough you should get special dialogue the rest is pretty easy after that.
Talk to the first cop onboard, he has been told that you are a reporter doing a bit of investigation. He is going to call away some of the other cops, so you can get into the room with the cameras to take a look at the sarcophagus. Might be that this doesn't work with a Nosferatu character.

you need to do 3 things on the dane :
1)Investigante Crime Scene - The cop will tell you the password for computer - Lighthouse, if not with some hacking skills you can get it done if not that just read this sentence you are reading and that should tell you the password. So hack/log in to that computer and enable security, than look at the monitor near the computer until you can see the sarcophagus, so you dont have to go near it
2)Ship manifest - Using the computer unlock all the doors on the dane, get out of that room, climb down the ladder where the cop is, turn back, go into the door, take manifest
3) Get the police report - with some persuation/intimidate skill you can get it from the cop, if not just make 'Snatch & Run' which means run to the place where the police report is, take it, and get the hell out of that ship without killing anyone

Ah dammit. I was so close. I did get into that computer, with the password, and played around with the controls. I even sounded off the fog horn to try to distract the cops. But, stupidly, I thought that the camera option would make it too hard for me to sneak.
So I went on a button-mashing rampage. Combat was hard, with as many as 4-5 cops shooting at me at once, plus apparently some reinforcements. I handled it the same way that I handled the Sabbat warehouse, draining every other opponent. It was tough, though.
Then I went and looked at the sarcophagus, which was very disturbing up close. On my way out, I stupidly took a wrong turn and fought more cops. I was so rattled that I got killed.
Going back to the last save, I tried it again, this time using the cameras to peak at the sarcophagus. Mission accomplished, with no combat! Thanks for the tip, guys.

drat!
I was equally stupid - I even accidentally turned the cameras on, but panicked thinking they would spot me, so turned them off again.
I didn't think the no-kill mission was possible without obfuscate...I even accidentally killed a cop by dropping a container on him playing with the crane controls!
usually feeding leaves people disorientated - it is a shame that it does not do so in sneak missions like Dane and the Museum.
