calling dr grout ***SPOILER****

When you've finished the quest and report back in to the prince it seems to me that your only choice is to tell the prince that you saw nines. Is there no way to lie to the prince since I like nines a lot and don't want to sell him out.

No, you have to tell him, unfortunately. I reloaded and tried several answers but my char always spilled the beans. Maybe you *can* avoid it if your persuasion skill is very high, but i doubt that (would lead to storyline hickup).

Cool signature btw. Bg2 is great :D

I play as a Tremere, but probably should have played Brujah as well. Ended up using him as a close combat melee' fighter and not as a mage.

The story of Planescape Torment is better then the BG one as far as i am concerned, but Bg2 has all those Npc banters...
Edvin must be the coolest Nps ever.

escaping the mansion?

Hey,
I'm playing a gangrel. Any hints on escaping the mansion? The place catches on fire, and burning vampires are chasing me.

Just go through the doors that aren't on fire. you'll come to a room where you can escape through a window.

two or three shotgun shots usually takes care of the burning freaks before they can reach you. even if you don't use firearms normally this is a good place to try them out :)

Really ? There is usually only one ghoul left and you can shoot him down from the balcony. The others usually go down with one shot from the shotgun. Just don't let them corner you....

Do YOU have problems with burning, insane Malkavian ghouls? Does your house catch alight at the first sign of Vampire hunters? Just can't seem to put your coat out once a burning lunatic has latched onto you? There is a solution!

New from the people who brought you "What the hell are you doing?" and "Dude, don't touch that" comes all new "Be paitent!". Thats right, brand new "Be Patient" comes with everything you see here, including beating ghouls to death with a baseball bat, and waiting patiently in a quiet corner for your health to recover instead of running ahead like a chicken with it's head.. On.. Fire...
Call now and get all new and improved "Fortitude"... For those times when you run out of ammo or just can't stand the thought of sitting still any longer.
Comming soon to a store near you, "Dominate" "Dementation" "Thurmaturgy" and "Animalism"... All quite capable of destorying your mortal enemies at long range, or making them destory each other. Don't wait! Call NOW!!

I know the first time I did it just kinda... watched in horror as the burning insane dude downstairs clamly wandered through the door and away... he didn't seem to mind being no fire as much as burning people usualy do.
Or so I'm told *innocent look*
Ahem! Anyway, you might try just hangging around upstairs till he wanders off through the door, maybe the reason I didn't get swamped is cos all the other ones wander off their own way as well.

This is very strange indeed. All of you had problems getting out of the mansion with the flaming malks? I ran into maybe three before I left. Which between my wolf and blood suckers and my ravens and then my wolf made short work of them. Of course once I left I had to go home and snack on some Heather vitea.
