Armigers Stronghold?

Post by Oblivion135 »

I want to train my long blade to 100 with a trainer, and I heard that the master trainer of long blade is in the Armigers stronghold in Molag Mar.
The problem is that I can't find the stronghold. Can anyone tell me where it is?

No, I I remember visiting this trainer, he is in the Stronghold in Molag Mar, you must go to one of the lower levels and walk through, you will eventually find it.

Hey! :mad: Mods aren't evil (except carnithus' armamentium)

I also remember there being a very good long blade trainer in Ghostgate (In the tower of dusk, I think). I never actually got any services from the other guy because I killed him for his armour :D :rolleyes:

I'm confused - why would you need a trainer to get your Long Blade up to 100? Why not just equip a long blade weapon and go whack things? Might take a little while, but you'd save a ton of cash!

That's a very valid point. I personally save cash that way whenever I can, but as I for one know, all those rich, trust-fund-Tommy's out there exchange money for work whenever possible (which is almost always :rolleyes: )

When you have trained long blade skill from 5 to 100 twenty times whitout trainer.. you will start to like trainers.

Ever considered killing ordinators in the foreign quarter? You just stand on top of a rectangular flower pot, make sure you got a staff, bow (or any other ranged weapon), spear or magic (magic works best) and hack away cos he won't hit you with his stupid (no insult for the mace lovers) ebony mace. The bracers are 1400 each, pauldrons 2400, helm 3000, cuirass 7000, boots 2000, shield 2000, mace 12000 and greaves about 5000 (If they would be there) :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: Then sell to creeper for 32-35k total. Got a redguard with long blade 100, heavy armor 100, umbra and full ebony because of that.

Then don't concentrate on *training*, concentrate on *playing*. Rather than aiming at getting the Long Blade skill to 100, aim to complete quests, explore and have fun. Just equip a long bladed weapon to whackity whack the monsters, and in no time at all, you'll have 100 in Long Blade.

Zar got her Axe skill to 100 without me really noticing. Every time a monster came up, she drew her axe and cut its head off. I didn't pay any attention to her Axe skill, until she actually got to 100 - then she changed to spears and bows. :)

The same kinda thing happened to me. I was only level 8 when my long blade skill peaked at 100. At this point I started using the tactic to raise skills over 100 (you know, by using a CE drain item), and now my argonian pal is at Long Blade 135

@Eggy
I don't think I'll be playing Morrowind this time next year, what with NWN 2, Oblivion and half a dozen other CRPGs coming out... We'll have to wait and see! I do use trainers for non-core skills (Zar has trained all of her magic skills up to 30 or so), but core skills just seem to go up so fast anyway...

@oozae
Cautious? Huh?

Yes NWN2... i hope that it would be better game... but this time i would like to be able to create someotehr characters than bards...

But back to matter... you cant be so sure about that... NWN2 might suck totally...
