Just a question about "notarget"

Post by Moon Maiden »

Someone has got to know about NOTARGET

Hi ho there good friends...(sorry, in a bit of a goofy mood :D ) Just a quick q about the notarget console cheat. Does it make you invisible to everyone, just like really high obfuscate? So technically I could use it to get through the museum unnoticed? How do you take the notarget off, or does it have a particular time it runs for then turns off...any help with this would be greatly appreciated...

notarget makes it so that any enemy cannot see you, they still see you move but will not see you to attack, it lasts until you type in notarget again, and yes you can use it in the museum

Thank You!!

Thank you Jack, you are the only person to even take the time to respond to my query...so I can just walk around the museum and the guards will see me, but not see me as a target or enemy? Cool...guess I'll give it a try. Thank you again, and I have to say, I don't know why no one responded to this post except you...either no one but you Jack has used notarget, or people are ignoring me...sniff...lol, I don't care. Thanks again!

hidy ho there miss maiden of the moon.
Sorry about the lack of responces to your query, but sumetimes it is easy to overlook a thread. That, and I, personally, didn't have an answer for you.

Live life like a giant frog...just be hoppy, er, happy, i meant *happy*

Correction, they won't see you only hear you and say "what was that" or "who's there"

You rock!

Thank you again Jack...I've yet to actually do the museum, but it's on my list of places to visit. Hopefully sometime this evening...And Malky...It's okay, I wasn't really angry, and I will be sure to live hoppy...er happy, just like your frog. I can't wait though to use the notarget, because it would basically be like being in a low state of obfuscate, right? They know someone is there, but can't see you to attack you! Neato! Take care all,

Some kind of monsters (like the zombies in the crackhouse) will still attack you even with the notarget command.

I Love Notarget!

I used NOTARGET in the museum, and it worked like a charm...silly guards, running around me with their silly guns, all the while, I'm hacking into their puters, or standing right in front of them...hehehe. I think I like it in that case better then obfuscate, simply because you don't have to waste blood points to keep it going! Sad that I'll HAVE to use obfuscate while planting some webcams later on in the game...Does anyone else have a particular console command that they adore, and think that the game is more enriched with it? I have to say that the vclan, vstat buy/sell, giftxp, give item_...ah hell, I like all the console commands...better run, I'm rambling again!
Big, wet, sloppy (what? I'm a messy eater) kisses to all,
