Error in the Goblin Warrens

Post by Zyphomathic »

As the topic refers to; I am in the goblin warrens (below the fortress). When I go to level 2 of the warrens everything starts to lagg like I had 10000 ping. Then after a minute or so the game crashes and I get this error message:

An Assertion failed in CStore.cpp at line number 200.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this error? Id really love to be able to play more than to the warrens :(

I have tried reinstalling the game, but that does not fix the problem. Please everyone, I need help!

Why would that help? I normally use close to the best graphical "things" and it works perfectly well :S

Thanks for answering anyways. I hate this problem :(

Well.. this is quite embarrasing... I didnt want to install the patch for 1 reason solely: I want the better animate dead summons you see...

Like acopolyptic boneguard and drowned dead etc

Well, Ill try patching and check right away.

There's a fix to that problem over at Sorcerer's Place (link in the useful link post above).

It annoys me (the stops and all) as well, but I don't crash from it. Maybe because my computer is ancient.

This is unbelievable  Especially considering that these games were designed for 300Mhz CPUs... I reinstalled BG yesterday and the highest computer option I could choose was "Fastest PC, 600MHz"...

So there must be a problem with your settings, I suppose. Not the game settings, since it should run perfectly well even if you set all the graphics to highest - maybe your graphic card should be configured properly?

I advice you to post this problem in the Tech Support forum (it's in the "other stuff" section), I'm sure some of the thech guys will be able to help you there!

Good luck!
