Gidday all,

I just wanted to update you all on Zar's progress - I'm hoping everyone is enjoying reading these updates as much as I enjoy playing through them.

Anyway, Zar decided recently that rather than wandering around aimlessly (and whacking the baddies) she would try to complete off some quests, and gain influence in the guilds and groups she is a member of. To this end, I've been concentrating on completing whatever quests she had listed in her journal.

So far, she has completed all of the Fighter and Mage Guild quests in Balmora, as well as all the Fighter's Guild quests in Vivic (well, as far as she can go, anyway. She knows that the Orc in Vivic is a Camonna Tong muppet who will need to be expelled from the Guild. She's not killing the tax collector.). She's also completed the Imperial Legion quests in Gnisis, all of which were very cool (and made her happy, too).

Then she completed a bunch of House Redoran quests - taking the kid to Kaol Cave, finding the merchant who got lost in the storm, delivering the Cure Disease potion. Zar managed to locate four of the polypyrion thingys and gave them all to the mage in Caldera. She also delivered two of the books required by the Cult of the Clouds (now they are an interesting bunch!).

Finally, Zar decided to wander to the Urshilaku Camp, to visit this Wise Woman Caius wanted her to chat with. After running a couple of errands for the Clan head, she chatted at length with the Wise Woman - quite a disturbing conversation. Zar is very uncomfortable with this whole Nevarine thing, and isn't sure that the Emporer is doing the right thing... She will have to see how things pan out.

One of the other Ashlanders asked Zar to chase down a murderer, so Zar headed up to Dagon Fel to find this guy. In trying to locate the Ashlander camp he was hiding in, she stumbled across a group of Orcs worshipping at a Daedric shrine - bad luck for the Orcs! Since the loot was all so heavy, she cast a Almsivi Intervention, thinking she'd end up back in Gnisis - but no! She arrived in Vos. And a smaller, more backward settlement she is yet to see. (Mind you, the fight with the Orcs was tough, because all four of them saw her at once. She must have drunk a dozen Restore Health potions in that combat.)

Zar is now 26th level, INT 94 END 97, Spear 67, Heavy Armour 91, Speech 87, Alchemy 68. She's got two houses - one in Balmora, which used to be owned by a murderer, and one in Vivic St Olms, also which used to be owned by a murderer. Both a packed with stuff! Mostly quest gear and alchemical stuff.

I also started a new PC - Roshandhal the Bosmer. Completely different to Zar, he's a cheat, a lier, a thief and a murderer. I'll write up his first adventures in Vvardenfall later today.

If you don't pay a set amount of money for the internet then I would advise that you write your Zarsutha posts in word and then copy it and paste in the forums. That way you can also keep track of your character's progress and maybe make a story.

I'm on a DSL connection, so I've got a set cost per month for Internet access. Thus, no need to write stuff off-line (and I do most of my posting at work, when I get bored).

No, I didn't find the statue, but I've found several others, which highlight to say "Shrine of XYZ" or whatever the Daedra's name is. Dunno what they are for, if anything.

Moria is installed, but I've not gone anywhere near it yet. Later, once I finish more quests!

They are daedra princes who give you quests, I've only done the azura one but I know there is a mehrunes one

I'm certain that they are called the Daedra Princes not the Daedra Gods, even Azura

I am sorry.. but they are gods... daedra prince is just one them.. cant remember his name though.

He didn't have much melee or magickal power so had to sneak and steal and backstab a lot. Have fun!

If I highlight the statue and it says "Shrine of XYZ", nothing happens when I press the space-bar. How do you interact with the statues?

West from dagon fel there is only one statue.. and that is part of temple's four corners quest. ''Green marker''
