Wild Mage bug...

Post by StillSouth »

I've been playing the Wild Mage for a few days now and have come across a bug. If you get a wild surge that turns you into a squirrel your Number of Attacks gets set to zero, and if you dispel the effects, it will stay at 0 permanently. I don't know if this happens if you just let it wear off.

Just a warning to save often if you play as a Wild Mage, as i have found no way of reversing this except to load a previous game.

It may be possible to remove the offending affect with Shadowkeeper - I've had to do this with Nalia when her shapeshift to Mustard Jelly became permanent, after an encounter with Beholders. (@#$% anti-magic rays  )

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Nope, shadowkeeper doesn't work. Once you dispel it, your stuck at zero. I downloaded shadowkeeper for this exact reason and it was a no-go. It even said in shadow keeper that the value was 1, and changing it up or down did nothing. However when i imported the charactor into a new game he was ok.

PS. This does not happen if you get polymorphed into any other creature, just a squirrel.
