Elemental resistances

Is it usefull to have more than 100% in fire resistance for instance ?
I'am ok with Magic Resist. because of Lower Resist spell but what about elemental ?
(He he! gain HP when fireballed!!!)
Or only 100% is enough
(and so i spread the elemental equipments through my party)

You can get elemental resistances up to 127%. Having fire resistance over 100 heals you, but not the rest (as far as I know).

Note that this has been confirmed as a bug, which means taking advantage of it is...
