CDs to play with

When i put my SoU disc in and tried to play today it said i needed the HotU disc. I have all games inst. but never needed to use the HotU cd to play. Before i could use the SoU cd with HotU inst. So what's wrong now?

I wouldn't know why you have been able to in the past, but I've always had to use the "latest installed" game-cd to run the game.
THus when I only had NwN and SoU I needed SoU play disc. When I then installed HotU I needed that disc.

But I don't know why you have been able to in the past.

I didn't memtion it first but i have reinstalled since last i tried .so what if i had SoU inst last. don't remeber which i installed first last time.

i think one of the patches requires HOTU

It is not last as in "last installed", but the last game in the series

hmmm okay. maybe i had cracked it or something last time, well it doesn't really matter since i have the cd i need
