Avenger/Fighter dual bug

Everytime I try to duel an Avenger to a fighter (yes I have all the required stats), the game freezes after completing the dual-class screen. Anybody have any suggestions?

The Undead Hunter is a "Holy Avenger"... but i think he means the druid kit; Avenger

Completely black screen? Smaller than your desktop? That's what I got when I messed with some of the dual class game files... Perhaps the Avenger dual hasn't been implemented right.
