T3-M4 & Repair Skill

Post by onemeg »

Somewhere I read that I shouldn't worry to much about skills since my other party members will be able to take care of most of it for me. So I haven't been putting points into repair (I'm a consular). But when I talk to T3 and try to upgrade him with another char that has some repair skill, it just switches to me and of course I don't have the skill. I guess my question is should I start putting points into repair? Or is it worth it just to upgrade T3?
Thanks,
Meg

Later on Bao-Dur upgrades him once I think. But no I dont think it's worth it seeing as with all the other party members you get I only used T3 once and that was because I had to.
Add l Skinflute l (Lower case L's) if you think you can beat me 1v1 snipers in Halo 2.

Supposedly the main character gets a wisdom upgrade if you completely repair and influence the little tin can :) .

Well, this is the main reason I've been putting points in skills this time. I didn't bother in KotOR 1, but now I have points in nearly all skills (Sentinel with 16 INT) and I gotta say it's a relief not having to switch over to party members to do everything. And of course doing all that's possible yourself, having new conversation options and the like. And getting the good stuff from damaged/locked bins when you're all by yourself.

If it helps, I'm a Consular with 14 Int. I am keeping Persuade mostly maxed, I took the Computer Use class skill feat, and I am dividing my remaining points between Computer Use, Repair, Treat Injury and Awareness. I keep them all almost maxed... I also have two cross-class ranks in Demolitions and Security so that I could get by on Peragus before I got friends to handle the stuff for me.

It seems to work out well for me thus far. I am upgrading T3 and I think it'll be worth it in the end.
May the Force be with you...
