OK, I just finished the game but I didn't get answer to some questions. (I also read a thread on Obsidian Forums about stuff that wasn't put in the game because they had to release it unfinished)
- On Malachor V, when you play as Remote you see Bao Dur's hologram. I assume Bao Dur died but when and how ?
- Who is Darth Nihilus ? He just appears out of nowhere and it's not explained who he is and what's his part in the plot.
- What happens in the end ? The Ebon Hawk takes off but wasn't the protagonist supposed to die with Kreia ?
- What happened to Revan ? Carth says he went somewhere where he couldn't take the others with him. Did he literally go to the Outer space or did he die or what ?

This game felt rushed and most of it seemed like it was phoned in. Korriban for example. Anyway, to answer your questions with my opinions:
1. I assumed he died too. It was probably left vague just in case they wanted to bring him back for a sequal.
2. Darth Nihilus is the dude who's going around eating force sensitive planets. He's the reason why the Jedi are hiding because if they all gather up (like they did on Katarr) they send off enough jedi mojo for Insane Clown Lord to sense. Whenever you manage to meet up with one of the Jedi Masters, buckle down, ask all the questions they let you ask and listen to what they have to say. Same with your party members. A LOT of the story/plot is explained through them.
3. The end is subject to much debate. Look for the other thread discussing this topic.
4. See answer number 2. A lot of what happened to Revan (if I recall correctly) is defined by a conversation you have with Kreia. The jist of it is, he/she left for unknown space and didn't want to take anyone with him/her.
