where do you find orcs in bg1, i heard something about they might spare you if you have high charisma?

I don't think there are Orcs in BG1. There are some in various locations in BG2, and I think you can have a small conversation with one in the Windspear Hills.

Naah there are no orcs in BG1. If you don't consider Mulahey as an orc.
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

Yeah, no orcs. I don't think that makes much sense. If you've read the monster manual or any Forgotten Realms literature, the mountains are supposed to be crawling with orcs. I mentioned that in my thread about what creatures are missing from BG.
