Swoopracing bug

Post by Wolgare »

I've encountered this strange bug when I'm swoopracing.
When the race is about to start and i shift the bike "jumps" up to the roof and I'm flying above the racetrack which means that I can't take any boostpads.
Have this happened to anyone of you or am I all alone with this bug?

I got the same. The solution was to keep the right mouse button pressed all the way through ignition and simultaneously starting the swoop with a quick tap on the left mouse button.

You don't miss much however as swoop racing is generally broken:
this thread has more
(you cannot win as the track manager has serious bugs in responses - at least in my PC version  )

Yes, I've seen this bug some times on Telos, but since I couldn't beat the best time I gave up (it's a real shame you don't get anything for beating the second best)

But if this is a bug and he's always saying that your time wasn't good enough even if you beat the best time, I'll just give up on swoop racing whatsoever.

BTW, does anyone know if the Xbox swoop glitch also works on PC?

I didn't beat the best time, but I was faster then all the other scores and the manager was always saying something like "That was a great run but you didn't beat ANY of our four best times".

Funny thing is that he called my run great even when I was just learning controls, bashing walls, went to kitchen make some tea in between and scored several minutes in the end :-)
